Does anyone remember “Keith Olbermann Takes Swipe At Rachel Maddow Over Twitter“?

This is from 2013:

MSNBC has had some rough ratings months as of late, falling into third place in primetime viewers for the second quarter of 2013. In total viewers across daytime programming, MSNBC fell to fourth place behind Fox News, CNN and HLN.

When Olbermann responded to a tweet about the network’s ratings performance, another Twitter user asked if he was criticizing Maddow.

Olbermann responded, “It’s about the collapse of that network. I don’t know anything about her any more; she hasn’t bothered to speak to me since I left.”

But now, MSNBC is surging, and is well ahead of CNN:

In cable ratings for the week ended March 5:

Top five networks in primetime (18-49s): ESPN, AMC, USA, TBS, Discovery Channel.

Top five networks in primetime (total viewers): Fox News Channel, ESPN, HGTV, MSNBC, USA.

Top five total-day networks (total viewers): Fox News Channel, Nickelodeon, HGTV, MSNBC, Adult Swim.

Top cable news networks in primetime (total viewers): Fox News Channel, MSNBC, CNN, CNBC, HLN, FBN.

The only 2 people on MSNBC that I ever hear people reference or follow are Joe Scarborough and Rachel Maddow. For instance, my mom loves Maddow and watches the show every night. So Maddow is playing an important role in MSNBC’s success.

I wonder what Olbermann thinks of this?
