Square Space offers marketing nonsense when I want actual facts

Frustrating. Square Space offers a page remarkably free of any facts, which I suppose is meant to work as marketing, though it is so general and far removed from reality that it actually repels me from the service. I believe the line of reasoning was “Square Space exists to protect people from the technical details of building a website, so let’s avoid mentioning any specifics on the page about blogs” but in the end, a service does need to offer enough information that I can compare its ease of use to other competing services. If a service is unwilling to mention any details, I have to assume they have something to hide — perhaps a clunky interface that is worse than what the competition offers.
