Yesterday I went to the park along the Hudson River, near 96th st, and I started running north. I do a circuit up to 125th st, then back down to where there is construction around 88th st, and back, about 8 kilometers total. The path on the right side is sometimes for bikes and sometimes for a mix of bikes and pedestrians.
I’m running north and there is a guy on a bike coming toward me. He is extremely overweight, maybe 150 kilograms. Probably in his 50s. White hair, and a huge, uncontrolled white beard. He comes right at me and I think he is going to hit me so I step to the side. He leans towards me and screams “This is the bike lane, you asshole!”
Maybe he was drunk. Whatever he was angry about, it probably wasn’t me.Source
